Hello Tommy! Phil Marcum here. Thought I'd drop you A line to tell you how the project went. I have a 90's Carvin DC135 neck thru that is naturally bright, and the stock pickups made the problem way worse! This guitar was THIN sounding! Well not anymore! I gutted the guitar at Steve Music Stuff! "Steve's your biggest fan", I checked the resistence and found that the Super Neck was 9.5k, where the Vintage Bridge is 8.5k, So I took a gamble, and installed the Fat Bucker Super Neck in the bridge position, and two Fat Model SS Supers in the middle and neck. The neck pickup worked perfectly in the bridge, and is very balanced with the other singles! The guitar now has a tone of warmth, with a surprisingly open sound! Both Steve and I were shocked at the difference. The Fat Tones are superior in every way! The guitar has voice with GREAT TONE in all positions! They make my Carvin V-16 tube amp sing! It's a joy to play the guitar now! It responds to pick attack with very cool harmonics! I could go on and on, but i would just be searching for better words to make the same point. FANTASTIC TONE! SWEET, SWEET, SWEET! At practice that night everyone noticed the difference right away! Now the bass player has had Steve to order Fat Tones for his J bass! We'll let you know how that one turns out, although I have a pretty good idea! Thanks a million!

Tommy B, Man I knew these Fat Model T's would sound good, but when I plugged in for the first time... BAM! Tone from Hell Brother! Since I put these pickups in, I haven't played my number one "go to" guitar ,(that I have played for the past 10 years), at all! These pick ups ooze tone! "No guitar goes on tour with me without Fat Tone Pickups, End of Story!"

"I stuck those Fat Model T pickups in today and I have been playing with them for a couple of hours. My first impression is that they rock! The pickups I had in there were okay, but, I didn't know what I was missing. These are quieter, smoother, fuller and rounder with better sustain. I think a person sometimes forgets how much a pickup change can make. Pretty much everything you said man.Thanks again, I'll keep in touch with you.
