Our Fat Model T is a direct Tele Style Single coil replacement. We start with a high quality lazer cut Fiberboard Bobbin, then wind with Era Correct Enamel 42 wire and use only the highest quality Sand Casted flat Alnico 5 Rod magnets, Copper Clad Ferrous Bottom Plates and Vintage Pre-Tinned Black and White Cloth Leads. We offer the Fat Model T in one output level. The neck pickup comes uncovered or with a Nickel / Silver cover triple plated in Nickel, Chrome or Gold. The Neck pickup is Reverse Wound, Reverse Polarity, (RWRP) for noise cancellation in the middle position. Believe it or not, our Fat Model T has very low hum and noise compared to most single coil pickups.

Vintage Fat Model T Bridge – A little hotter than Vintage T Style Single Coil output. This pickup has been created for the modern Nashville style players that are using a combination of big class A cleans and non- master overdrives. It is very balanced between sounds. Clean and full when you want it to be and twangs when you dig in, but with a clear top end, without the "sizzle" or breakup in the higher 5-10k range. Overdriven, its somethin' special, like a warm humbucker with some added attack. Full, gutsy midrange, tight bottom end and still a clear top end. Just what you would hope to find in a great T Style pickup. Perfect for Modern Country / Southern Rock and Chickin Pickin country tones, The Fat Model T is my personal favorite pickup for overdriven sounds. (See the review page - Brent Wilson's quote)
Bridge Output – 7.7k

Vintage Fat Model T Neck – A little less than vintage output. This pickup has a rich, round bottom end depth with even midrange and a little softer top end without being muddy, yet retaining some of the sparkle. The slightly lowered output balances great with the Fat Model T Bridge for even volume across the board. Great for Collins style Blues, Serious slide, rock and jazz tones.
Neck Output – 6.2k
