Our Fat 90 is a direct P-90 replacement that is available in several different configurations. We start with a high quality Fiberboard Bobbin, then wind with Era Correct Plain Enamel 42 wire and use only the highest quality Sand Casted Alnico 5 and Ceramic bar magnets and Braided Shield Leads. We offer the standard Fat 90 with Cream or Black covers, the Fat Dog 90 Dog Eared version with Nickel, Chrome and Gold triple plated Nickel / Silver covers, as well as the Fat 90 Retro which will directly drop into any standard humbucker rout. We offer 4 different outputs on the standard Fat 90.
Skinny 90 – Underwound for less output than a Vintage Fat 90, this pickup more closely resembles the brilliant attack of a single coil strat style pickup with a little more girth and bottom end. Perfect for those super clean “jangly” and mildly aggressive Blues tones.

Vintage Fat 90 - Vintage P-90 style output. This pickup has a clear, balanced, rich tone with deep bottom end, warm midrange and a clear top end sparkle with just enough attack. Perfect for those vintage thick, creamy tones from the 50s and 60s.

Super Fat 90 - Slightly hotter than the Vintage Model, this pickup has an increased output with rich, tight bottom end and little more midrange growl to cut through while retaining the top end clarity, sparkle and single coil attack. Roll the volume down a little and it’s clean again. Great for Classic Rock, Blues and aggressive slide tones.

Hot Fat 90 – The hottest Fat 90. This is a high output pickup with a good bit drive, tight bottom end, a bigger midrange bump and still great top end sparkle with a little more attack than the others.
