Our Fat Baby is a direct Firebird or Mini Humbucker replacement. We start with a high grade Nickel / Silver Bottom Plate, then wind with Era Correct Plain Enamel 42 wire on poly carbonate bobbins and use, only the highest quality Sand Casted Alnico 5 magnets . We offer both “Solid” and “Pole Showing” Humbucker covers that are made from high quality nickel silver and are triple plated for a clean and durable finish. We offer 3 different outputs for Bridge and Neck with Braided Shield single conductor wiring.

Vintage Fat Baby - Vintage Firebird style output, this pickup has a clear, balanced, rich tone with rich bottom end, even midrange and a clear top end sparkle. Perfect for those vintage Firebird blues, rockabilly and slide tones.

Super Fat Baby - Slightly hotter than the Vintage Model, this pickup has an increased output with rich, tight bottom end and little midrange growl to cut through while retaining the top end clarity and sparkle you already love. Roll the volume down a little and it’s clean again. Great for Classic Rock, Blues and aggressive slide tones.

Hot Fat Baby – Hotter than the Super Fat Baby, this is a higher output pickup with a good bit drive, tight bottom end, a bigger midrange bump and still great top end sparkle with a little more attack than the others. Great for players who want to cross over from traditional Classic Rock and Blues to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Bridge
